A great journey in time through the various religious forms that have characterised humanity. This five-volume work is the outcome of work by the most important specialists in each religion and historical period. The fifth and final volume is articulated in three parts devoted respectively to the religions of Pre-columbian America, the native religions of peoples without writing, and to religious forms that have arisen from the encounter between cultures and modernity.
