This second volume presents in the entirety of their historical development two great religions which are at the roots of our cultural tradition: Hebraism and Chsritianity. Hebraism is shown in its evolution from the religion of Israel to contemporary Judaism. Christianity is analysed with particular attention given to the main confessions (Catholicism, Protestantism, orthodoxy) and to the events of its missionary expansion.
