An ancient utopia of freedom – born in our country with Machiavelli and the Free Republics – is capable of over-coming the limits of socialism and liberalism. But to introduce Republicanism it is not sufficient to threaten sanctions and laws, it is necessary to create a new social consciousness. This small book, without taking the side of specific political parties, aims to offer a contribution to the creation of this social awareness.
