A book for those who love Berlin, for those who mythologise it, for those who are fascinated by its contradictory charm.

Entering Berlin means automatically projecting oneself into the past, the present and the future. No other European city succeeds in bringing together these three temporal planes in a way that is both so harmonious and contrasting. After all, Berlin continues to be an iconic city at the centre of the European cultural scene, awakening the curiosity of thousands of visitors and young people from all over the world. In this book Giuseppe Culicchia imagines the city like if it were our own home, describing each part of it like a special room of the house. And so we walk thtough: the entrance hall, the hallway, the kitchen, the living room, the study, the bedroom, the guest room, the children's room, the walk-in wardrobe, the bathroom, the storage closet, the basement, the attic, the terrace, the garden ... The book ends with short and curious sections that complement the text: Walking around Berlin with a book in hand, or more; Chronology of the city's history; Filmography, Bibliographies and Discography.
