Valerio Magrelli

Valerio Magrelli has published five collections of poetry and two of prose: In the apartment building of the flesh (Einaudi 2003) and the The vicelife: Trains and travels by train (Laterza 2009). Full professor of French literature at the University of Cassino, he is the author of A profile of dada (Lucarini 1990, Laterza 2006), The house of thought: Introduction to Joseph Joubert (Pacini, 1995, 2006), Seeing oneself seeing oneself: Models and visual ciruits in the works of Paul Valéry (Einaudi 2002, L’Harmattan 2005). With Laterza he has published: Soluble black sonnet: Ten authors rewrite a poem by Baudelaire (2010) and Magic and poisonous: Rome as told by forein writers (2010).
